I was shocked to discover that a lot of East Tennessee has never heard of body contouring! I'm excited to introduce this amazing technology that works in synergy with an active lifestyle for amazing results!
For clarification, body sculpting, body shaping, and body contouring are all interchangeable. Body sculpting is just an umbrella term for a handful of non-surgical, non-invasive modalities and methods that break down body fat.
Without going into too much technical stuff, I'll give a very simplified version of what we are doing. Essentially, we are using a combination of ultrasound, red light therapy, and radiofrequency to heat up and liquify the contents of the fat cells. Once we have done this, we then use techniques that include assisting the movement of the fat waste, such as manual manipulation, gentle suction, and wood therapy.
Body sculpting is only recommended for healthy and active individuals. It is not surgery and it works much on the same premises of weight loss from any other method. The longevity of the results are dependent on your lifestyle. If you become sedentary and consume excess calories, you will gain back the fat you lost. The results are dependent on your decisions!
A minimum of six sessions is ideal. Body sculpting does cause the breakdown of fat after only one session, but it's of the opinion that only receiving one or two treatments really isn't a good investment of your time or money. To see the powerful change that body sculpting can really offer, a series of treatments is the best. Ideally, twelve, once a week treatments is the goal. Measurements and pictures will be taken to track and adjust the treatment plan for optimal results.
You will be provided with pre and post care instructions and any questions you have will be answered during the consultation and/or treatment.
Not only will fat be reduced, but the radiofrequency and red light therapy will assist in tightening skin and enhancing collagen production along this way. This equates to a better weight loss experience with less lax skin.
After we have determined we have reached the desired reasonable results, sessions then move to once a month for about three or four months. After that time frame, it is advised for quarterly follow-up. Ideally, you will maintain a lifestyle that supports your new shape, but should you find yourself off track, you can temporarily increase sessions and then return to a maintenance phase.
The benefits are obvious! There is no downtime and recovery, no anesthesia, no needles, no pain, no scarring, and no huge medical bills. Cosmetic surgery isn't for everyone, but fortunately there are becoming more and more options to achieve what used to seem like the impossible!
